Luciano Alvarado Signs with Clark Community College

The Dalles Ore., April 18, 2024 — The Dalles High School held a signing day ceremony for Senior Luciano Alvarado, yesterday afternoon April 16th, at 3 p.m. to celebrate the continuation of his education and his soccer career at Clark Community College.

When asked how it felt to be signed into the school Alvarado said “It feels really good. This is going to be a big step, but an exciting one.”

Alvarado said that he is looking forward to playing a goalkeeper and getting into Human Science. “I’m big into fitness, I believe you always have to take care of your body.”

When asked what he was most looking forward to, Alvarado said “It will be fun to leave the safety of home and meet new people.”

He ended by saying “I just want to get out there and do what I love to do..”

Alvarado’s family, including his father Luis, mother Alena, and three sisters Lily, Laylah, and Lilah all showed up to support and celebrate Luciano’s accomplishments.

“He worked for years for his goal and now I get to see him set new ones.,” said Alvarado’s father Luis.

Friends, coaches, and teachers were also present to celebrate his accomplishments.
