Obituary: Miguel Angel Aguilar, Jr.,
Miguel Angel Aguilar, Jr.,affectionately known as "Mickey," "Miggy," and "Miggs," passed away tragically on July 17th, 2026, in Camas, Washington, as the result of an automobile accident. He was 23 years old.
Miguel was born on April 5th, 2003, in Portland, Oregon, to Adriana Flores and Miguel Angel Aguilar Sr. Throughout his life, he called several communities home, including The Dalles, Tillamook, and Portland, Oregon, as well as Vancouver, Washington. He attended The Dalles High School before graduating from Trask River High School in Tillamook with the Class of 2022.
Miguel embraced life with an adventurous spirit and a generous heart. He found joy in fishing, exploring the mountains, hiking, diving into any body of water, chasing sunsets and waterfalls, and creating memorable meals for those he loved. More than anything, Miguel was known for his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His kindness, loyalty, and genuine compassion left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Miguel is survived by his beloved fiancée, Bailey Smith; his mother, Adriana Flores; his father, Adolfo Garcia; his grandparents, Nahum and Regina Flores, Luis Aguilar, and Laura Ramirez; his siblings, Alicia Aguilar and Felipe Aguilar; his uncles, Jose Flores, Alvaro Flores, and Luis Angel Aguilar; his aunts, Nekoel Flores, Gabriela Aguilar, and Nancy Aguilar; his cousins, Alessandro Flores, Lupita Flores, Aiden Flores, Giovanni Flores, Mateus Flores, Delany Merino, Abner Merino, Zion Aguilar, Kelsy Jacobo, Ami Jacobo, and Dylan Jacobo; and his cherished companion, Remy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Miguel Angel Aguilar Sr., in 2025, and his uncle, Rogelio Castellanos, in 2023.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all of their family members, friends, and the many communities who have surrounded them with love, prayers, and support during this time of profound loss. Your kindness has helped honor Miguel's life with the farewell he deserved. Though his time with us was far too short, he will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him and in the countless beautiful memories he created.

Services for Miguel are planned as follows;
A time of viewing, visitation & Rosary;
A viewing, visitation and rosary will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, at The Dalles Civic Auditorium, 323 E. Fourth St., The Dalles. The rosary will begin at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass, Graveside Rites & Reception
A Catholic funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, July 31, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1222 W. 10th St., The Dalles. Graveside rites at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery and a reception at St. Peter Cultural Hall will follow the service.Catholic
