Margaret Kahler, 89, of Hood River, Oregon, peacefully passed away on January 31, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on May 8, 1934, in Hood River, Oregon, to her loving parents Clarence and Ora Hausinger. Margaret was a quiet, giving, classy, strong, and loving individual.
Elizabeth Jane Kollas, “Betty” to most, passed away Saturday, January 27, shortly after her 95th birthday at the Hood River Care Center. Born in Rush City, MN, Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Freda Peterson, twin brother at birth, and her sister Jeanette Johnson.
Tristin Cole Baker was born February 24, 2008, at 3:35 p.m. at Hood River Memorial Hospital to Scott Lawrence Baker and Chelsey Mae Elliott. Tristin has been a fighter since birth, having been born nine days late, delivered by emergency C-section after 19 hours of labor, with his cord wrapped around his feet. Tristin passed Monday, January 22, 2024, in Hood River, OR.
