September 2022 Horoscopes: Libra season brings the love and Mercury RX brings the spice

We’re halfway through the maiden healer, Virgo’s season and you’re likely to be feeling the transition rather acutely.
After all, despite the fact that we live in a human dominated society that often considers itself separate from nature- we are really a part of nature, animals that can instinctually attune and adapt to nature and the shifting seasons. During this shift, the animals of our bodies continue to experience a restless instinct to gather, to prepare, and to make the most of the remaining summer sun.
September starts off with us fully in Mercury retrograde’s shadow phase before it goes fully retrograde in Libra, the sign of partnership and romance on the 9th causing misunderstandings, reflections, and overthinking to abound.
Meanwhile, Venus exits expressive Leo and transitions into perfectionist Virgo on the 4th. This transit marks the beginning of cuffing season, as summer flings either turn serious, or fade into fall shadows. It also means that we’ll be more prone to analyzing and critiquing ourselves and others in regards to our habits and behaviors in relationships. My advice? Maintain your boundaries. But don’t be so inflexible that you become rigid in your thinking. Try to remember that no one is perfect, all anyone can really do is strive to be their best self.
On Saturday the 10th, the full moon in Pisces causes you to reconnect with your idealism in ways that may or may not be healthy and signaling either a need to complete additional shadow work or move forward with actions that support your goals.
Libra season begins on the 22nd, marking the first day of fall, followed by the new moon in Libra on the 25th, which is a great time to set new goals or take up new hobbies.. Relationship, romance and justice oriented Libra ruling the skies means you’ll be looking to balance the scales.
On the 29th Venus moves into her home sign of Libra, bringing harmony to our relationships and helping us to make space in our lives for the things that bring us joy, while also making us a bit indecisive about where exactly we should be making that space.
Also in retrograde this month:
Jupiter is retrograde. Take calculated risks.
Saturn is retrograde in Aquarius until late October causing culture conflicts and making you rethink, rework, and revise our long term commitments and goals. Saturn is the planet of ego, karma, justice and career. Those who are seeking to balance the world’s karmic scales and socially progressive ideals like gender equality, LGBTQ+ acceptance, healthcare reform, and education reform will continue to be challenged by old guard ideals of religious zealously, infatuation with tradition and political fanaticism during this transit.
Pluto is still retrograde in Capricorn until October 28th, activating our karma around money, ambition, power, boundaries, limits, and abuse of power on a global scale and leading to the new generations' societal disillusionment.
Neptune is retrograde in Pisces. Neptune will have humanity reflecting on our hopes, dreams, ideals, and aspirations on a global level until December 3rd. Fortunately, unlike some planets (cough, I’m looking at you Mercury, cough) in retrograde Neptune has a certain subtlety to it, especially while in its home sign of Pisces. It is a time when the state of your inner world is revealed to you. This will be a deeply introspective time that lends itself to globally shifting spiritual ideologies, deepening intuition, dream manifestation, dissolving, and immersion in our thoughts and feelings.

August 2022 Horoscopes: Processing inputs and building practical systems

The month kicks off with Leo season in full swing, with just a bit of planetary turbulence due to Mars and Uranus meeting up in the North Node of Destiny on July 31st-1st. And then Mars squares off with Saturn on August 7th, bringing out some seriously big ‘NO’s. Wildcard energy prevails so choose your battles carefully, and save that energy for your passion pursuits.
Mercury enters overly honest Virgo August 3rd, making communications direct, witty, detailed, but also a bit harsh. It’s a good time for tough honest conversations. But just be careful that your criticisms are coming across as constructive. If in doubt, try the compliment sandwich technique.
The Full Moon in rebellious Aquarius on August 11th, is a great time to achieve breakthroughs with out-of-the-box thinking. On the same day Venus enters Leo, increasing your desire to to be admired, shower and for loyal connections.
