In any case July is here and it’s full of transitions for everyone, so hold on tight.
There’s a certain tension in the air during this time of year, due to conflicting Cancer and Leo energies. We may feel torn between hibernating, home making, and emerging from our shells this month. The key is balance and listening to yourself. You might not want to go to that big pool party, but you might enjoy having some friends over for iced tea and a showing of Lilo and Stitch.
On July 5th, chatty Mercury enters protective Cancer causing you to pause and assess situations for emotional safety before speaking your mind.
Also on July 5th, we have a big energy shift occur in our lives when motivated Mars exists impulsive Aries and moves into committed Taurus. Mars in earthy Taurus causes the pace of life to slow down for a while and gives you time to take a more deliberate, laid back and sensory approach to life.
The Capricorn full moon on July 13th has us manifesting and embracing our adulting power and our ability to achieve. Capricorn is a very career and achievement oriented sign, making the full moon a great time to set career goals and ask for what you want from yourself.
Venus enters Cancer on the 17th bringing tenderness to our feelings and an increase in protective feelings when it comes to our homes and loved ones.

What’s in retrograde this month:
Jupiter goes retrograde in Aries on July 28th. Take calculated risks.
Saturn is retrograde in Aquarius until late October causing culture conflicts and making you rethink, rework, and revise our long term commitments and goals. Saturn is the planet of ego, karma, justice and career. Those who are seeking to balance the world’s karmic scales and socially progressive ideals like gender equality, LGBTQ+ acceptance, healthcare reform, and education reform will continue to be challenged by old guard ideals of religious zealously, infatuation with tradition and political fanaticism during this transit.
Pluto is still retrograde in Capricorn until October 28th, activating our karma around money, ambition, power, boundaries, limits, and abuse of power on a global scale and leading to the new generations' societal disillusionment.
Neptune is retrograde in Pisces. Meaning Neptune will have humanity reflecting on our hopes, dreams, ideals, and aspirations on a global level until December 3rd. June 2022 Horoscopes: communicating and adjusting to the new normal
We’re still figuring out how to express and communicate our new normal, following the eclipses and Mercury RX madness, so there’s bound to be some growing pains. Still, it’s good to be on the other side of the cosmic storm for a bit. This month we’re tidying up loose ends, finding resolutions, integrating our new identities and getting used to our new normal. Let’s talk about the good news first: We’ve survived the Taurus and Scorpio eclipses and Mercury retrograde is set to end June 2nd!
Mercury’s torturous backstroke finally end, making the second half of Gemini season (which runs from May 21st to June 21st) much more bearable.
That’s right, the miscommunications, reflections on historical traumas, slipping back into old habits and mindsets, misdelivered packages, flat tires, and 2AM ‘You Up?’ texts are finally coming to an end and our social adaptability finally has a chance to shine.
This retrograde really pushed us outside of our comfort zones and pushed us to rethink, review and revise our lives.
On the 2nd Mercury enters retroshade (the post retrograde shadow period) until June 18th. Retroshade is a time finding resolution on any leftover baggage you’re carrying around following the retrograde. Mid-way through retroshade, Mercury enters its home base of Gemini. Take a leaf out of Gemini’s book and wrap up loose ends by talking it out. You’ve got the wit, clarity, and communication skills to do it.
On the 18th, Mercury goes direct and our focus shifts from looking back to looking forward again.
Okay, now for the bad news.
This year has four retrogrades instead of the usual three so instead of having one retrograde left to deal with this year…you’ve got two left…yikes.
But hang in there my friend, after all, you’re halfway there.

While we’ve got a while before the next Mercury RX, there are other retrogrades happening this month that will impact us on a less personal and more global level.
Saturn retrograde in Aquarius begins June 4th, and continues until late October causing culture conflicts and making us rethink, rework, and revise our long term commitments and goals. Saturn is the planet of ego, karma, justice and career. Those who are seeking to balance the world’s karmic scales and socially progressive ideals like gender equality, LGBTQ+ acceptance, healthcare reform, and education reform will continue to be challenged by old guard ideals of religious zealously, infatuation with tradition and political fanaticism during this transit.
Also, Pluto is still retrograde in Capricorn until October 28th, activating our karma around money, ambition, power, boundaries, limits, and abuse of power on a global scale and leading to the new generations' societal disillusionment.
On June 28th, Neptune begins its retrograde in Pisces. Meaning Neptune will have us reflecting on our hopes, dreams, ideals, and aspirations on a global level until December 3rd. Fortunately, unlike some planets (cough, I’m looking at you Mercury, cough) in retrograde Neptune has a certain subtlety to it, especially while in its home sign of Pisces. It is a time when the state of your inner world is revealed to you. This will be a deeply introspective time that lends itself to globally shifting spiritual ideologies, deepening intuition, dream manifestation, dissolving, and immersion in our thoughts and feelings.

Last month fate threw rogue waves in your direction to test you.This month you’re the Captain of your own ship.
Do you know the origin story of your sign Gemini?
Gemini is the result of twins that were born of two fathers. mortal King and the Greek God Zeus. The heroic Castor and Pollux the brother’s of Helen of Troy, and expert horseman and Argonauts. They navigated the seas by the stars. It was said Posiden favored the twins and gave them control of the wind and the waves.
