TDHS Football Coach Nate Timmons

To say that I am happy for new head football coach Nate Timmons first win is a massive understatement. I grew up in the same neighborhood as Nate, throwing the football with our fellow neighborhood kids, and then watched him grow into a talented golfer, swimmer and football player himself. Nate has always shown a great ability to connect with athletes as a coach; something that not everyone (even some coaches) can do.

When Nate was announced as the new head ball coach a text group amongst those who knew him circulated and the sentiment was unanimous: he deserves this opportunity. Everyone who knows Nate knows he and his staff will push his players to be their best and I have no doubt we’re going to see great things from his Riverhawk teams.

Congratulations to coach Timmons, the staff and to all of the boys, on beating Umatilla! One down and many more to come. We’re all rooting for you this season.
