Homeowner applauds Quick Action for fire on East 18th street in TD
To the Editor,
I would like to thank MCF&R and Northern Wasco County PUD for their quick response this morning.
Around 5 a.m. my neighbor sent a text letting me know that our power pole (with a transformer) near our barn was on fire.
I called 911 and MCF&R responded immediately and someone from PUD arrived very shortly after the fire truck.
The PUD cut the power and did the initial work. Power was only down for 45 minutes. Then they came back and fixed the pole and the power was only down for an hour and 15 minutes.
Wow, we have amazing people in our community who come to our rescue on a moment's notice!
