TDAC potential losses ‘suck’

To the editor,

I just wanted to say that The Dalles Art Center potentially losing needed funds over a damn Ferris wheel placement for the cherry fest sucks! I can say as an artist who has had work sell there, that without TDAC operating, local artists take a hit when they aren’t open.

I was fortunate enough to sell my work which allowed me to get more groceries to get my family through the second half of the month. They need our support as much as we do theirs. Art is good for our mental health. So is a festival but we shouldn’t have to pick between them?
