To the editor,
I love my community with a passion and as a former teacher and substitute teacher, I deeply value the role of public education in society. As an 18+ year resident of Mosier and voter in Zone 1, I encourage you to vote for Adrian Lopez for the North Wasco County School District #21.
Adrian was appointed to that zone a little over a year ago and is now running for re-election. Adrian spent most of his life in Mosier (over 25 years) and is a second-generation cherry orchardist there with his father. He went to Mosier School as a child and graduated from TDHS in 2009. His daughter also goes to Mosier Community School.
Adrian works full-time as an auto mechanic and has also been a Teamster Union trustee for 5 years. He is hard-working, kind, and level-headed. He loves his community and has seen his life and the lives of family and friends transformed with access to quality public education. He is also bilingual and supports bilingual education in the district. He would like to continue to serve as the Zone 1 school board member and I encourage you to vote for him.
Sincerely,
-Camilia Richardson
