Shop local this holiday season at two November markets featuring regional artists, makers and small businesses, organized by McLaughlin Events.
The Dalles, Ore., Oct. 28, 2026 — Two holiday markets will bring 46 makers to The Dalles and Goldendale, Washington, in November, giving shoppers opportunities to find locally made gifts and support small businesses ahead of the holiday season.
The Mill Creek Holiday Makers Market is scheduled for Nov. 7-8 in The Dalles, featuring 26 makers. The following weekend, the Holiday in the Gorge Makers Market will take place Nov. 14-15 in Goldendale, featuring 20 makers.
Both events are organized by McLaughlin Events, which is promoting the markets through paid Facebook advertising, radio commercials airing on four stations and announcements during Goldendale High School football broadcasts.
The markets offer shoppers a chance to discover work by regional artists and makers while finding gifts and other goods from small businesses.
The Mill Creek market will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at Mill Creek Hall, 6290 Mill Creek Road. Admission is free, and the Mill Creek Development Club will serve lunch, with proceeds supporting renovations to the historic hall.
The Holiday in the Gorge Makers Market will be held at the Goldendale American Legion. The event will feature handmade goods, art, jewelry, seasonal products, specialty foods, home décor and other gifts. Admission is free, and the American Legion bar and restaurant will be open during the event.
