The foundational years of your child’s learning journey are always the most essential ones. Start them off right in Mosier Community School’s TK Explorer Program! TK stands for Transitional Kindergarten…aka Pre-K for 4-year-olds.
The touchstone and TK Explorer Program philosophy provides a joyful, hands-on, multi-age learning experience that builds on the group’s unique interests and passions.
Students learn to communicate their individual needs through social-emotional skill development. The program improves academic readiness by teaching pre-literacy and math skills in a structured educational environment. Language and communication skills are developed together with creativity and curiosity through guided exploration.
Mosier Community School is a PreK-grade 8 charter school nestled near the banks of the Columbia River, between Hood River and The Dalles. Our dedicated team of educators foster independent learning and citizenship for students to explore, imagine, and excel in all stages of their academic journey. Multi-age groupings, project-based units, collaborative learning environments, and small class sizes make our school the ideal place for your child to thrive.
