Tennis not so good for local deer in TD
Warning: A deer dies in this police log briefing.
A Wasco County Deputy in The Dalles had responded to a call on West 13th street on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 11:30 p.m. when they came across something rather suspicious.
They found a blood trail.
The deputy reported following the trail, according to The Sheriff’s log, and then found a large quantity of blood on the south side of Chenowith Middle School.
Hmm…
The officer continued to follow the trail to the west ending up in the old tennis courts where they located a “fairly fresh gut pile. The hair around the blood and gut pile looks to be that of a deer,” the log said.
Video was taken of the scene and sent to Oregon State Police who do game enforcement.
