D21 Budget Meetings set for May, 2026
NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the North Wasco County School District, Wasco County, State of Oregon, will be held to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.The meetings will be held at The Dalles Middle School Library, 1100 E 12th St, The Dalles, OR.
Meeting Schedule
Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 5:30pm: First Budget Committee Meeting.
Agenda: Elect presiding officers,
Receive Budget Message, and receive the Proposed Budget Document.
Receive questions and comments from citizens; Committee deliberation.
Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 5:30pm: Second Budget Committee Meeting (if needed).
Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 5:30pm: Third Budget Committee Meeting (if needed).
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comments from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 30, 2026, at 3632 W 10th St, The Dalles, OR, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
The meetings will be livestreamed for viewing via the District’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/northwascoschools. The meetings will also be recorded and available via a link on the District website at: http://www.nwasco.k12.or.us no later than three business days following the meetings.
