Farmer Don Kruger has been growing pumpkins on Sauvie Island for 20 years (Kruger's Farm) and, since retiring is not in his blood, he planted a 3/4  acre pumpkin patch on his new farm in Maupin this year.  It turns out that this climate is perfect for pumpkins and he has some of the largest, most perfect, pumpkins he's ever grown.  Stop by the farm, visit our little patch, and grab a great pumpkin.
