The Dalles Ore., July 9, 2024 — Zoologist, animal behaviorist, and wildlife educator Karl Anderson, also known as the "Bird Man," captivated a room full of children at The Dalles Wasco County Library with his collection of exotic birds last week.

For over 25 years, Anderson of Bay City, Oregon, has been conducting wildlife presentations at schools, libraries, children's hospitals, and nursing homes across Oregon, Washington, California, and Maryland. His recent appearance at The Dalles Library showcased a variety of birds from around the world, delighting the young audience.

"My shows are all about education and entertainment," Anderson told CCCNews. "I never outgrew show and tell."

Anderson's presentations are a blend of learning and fun, providing a unique experience for children to engage with wildlife up close.
