Fire at Koberg Beach State Park

Updated August 11, 2023 at 1:30 p.m.: The fire appears to be on mop-up.
Hood River, OR August 10, 2023— There were multiple reports of smoke coming from the north east side of Koberg Beach State Park at I-84 milemarker 65.6 near Hood River and across from Bingen, WA.
Mulitiple agencies responded to the call but accessibility to the site was difficult for fire crews.
The fire was an estimated 1.5 acres in size.
