Can you hear that? 4th of July weekend calling in one hour

Justin Miller and Katie Stroud were setting up this afternoon at 15-Mile Winery, 623 E. 2nd St. Besides excellent wine, people will have a chance to enjoy the evening looking at these wood mosiac pieces created by Stroud. Color choices and themes? Spot on!

Here we go into the three-day weekend with more things to do than firecrackers have fuses.

And I ain't got no worries - 'Cause I ain't in no hurry at all, The Doobie Brothers hit it just right.

The Dalles Downtown is kicking things off in an hour with First Friday.

More than 30 businesses are staying open late with all sorts of activities happening including live music, specials, drinks, treats and more.

Below is the list of participants.

I believe I will participate in an IPA!

See you there.
