Carrell, Robb Crush Friday with epic jams

Jeff Carrell celebrates his birthday today, April 9, after an epic show with his band, Kenny and The Jeffs, at Zim’s Brau Haus on Friday night. It was so great to see a four-piece slaying it again. Friend Victor Johnson joined Carrell, Jeff Minnick and Kenny Olsen for a 2-hour jam on Friday with some dark play on Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline. Happy 57th Jeff!

TD’s Groovin’ Gravy - from Left to Right: Kenny Olsen, bass; Jeff Minnick, drums; Jeff Carrell, guitar & vocals; and Victor Johnson, guitar & vocals. Homegrown never sounded so good. Nice show, Gentlemen!

Above, Terry Robb, a blues guitar virtuoso from Portland, provided some gorgeous slide guitar at Bargeway Pub on Friday night in The Dalles. Good choices abounded as live shows have returned in force to Little Art City.

Next up, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives will be on tap tonight at The Granada Theatre in The Dalles.
