The Dalles, Ore., Dec 29, 2025 — On Monday, January 5, 2026, the City of The Dalles Public Works will begin repairs to a catch basin on the 6th Street Bridge. The catch basin is creating a road hazard and must be repaired.

West 6th Street Bridge – Full street closure Monday, January 5, 2026, through Wednesday, January 7, 2026, during work hours. Expect delays.

Work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists, bicycles and pedestrians are asked to use detours around the work zone during work hours. The street will be reopened to the traveling public each afternoon.

Business access will remain open during construction.

Please proceed with caution in this area during street closures. Please observe all temporary traffic control devices. Thank you for your attention to traveling safety during this work.
