UCD serves residents with advice and natural resource conservation projects in Skamania and western Klickitat Counties. Several conservation districts work with farmers and residents in various Columbia Gorge counties on a voluntary, non-regulatory basis to help people manage their acreage, rebuild degraded habitat, reduce wildfire hazards, and other efforts. Native plant sales are a traditional annual program at conservation districts.
