The Academy will feature classroom-style presentations, tours, and discussions with representatives from all city departments, including the Police Department, Public Works, City Manager, City Attorney, Human Resources, Library, Finance, Community and Economic Development, and the Columbia Gorge Regional Airport. Past participant Sarah Mello shared, “I learned so much about our City. At every presentation, I was impressed by the high quality of city leadership and personnel. This experience has given me the knowledge and confidence to seek out roles to contribute to our community.”

The sessions will be held on August 27th, August 29th, September 3rd, September 5th, September 10th, September 12th, and September 17th from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., with a final LGA Graduate recognition at the City Council Meeting on September 23rd at 5:30 p.m.
