Donuts Can Fix Everything - Even Ford Vs. Chevy

IMG_2705.jpg

Larry Clark and Bill Mauldin enjoyed a donut together this Tuesday morning, Sept. 15, outside of the Bakitchen Bakery on Court Street.

They didn’t let a little smoke or virus stop them. They brought their own chairs and sat outside the Baldwin Saloon. The two are members of the Mid-Columbia Car Club. Larry likes a traditional maple bar. Bill likes a half and half - chocolate and maple. Larry has a 1940 Ford two-door sedan. Bill has a 1950 Chevy two-door coup.
They seem to get along just fine.
“We come and sit here to see each other as much as we can,” said Bill.
“We solve the world’s problems,” added Larry.
Air quality forecasts show some clearing by the end of the week. But you better go for a sure thing - I would choose the half and half.
