Dufur Lady Rangers Go 5-0 In Inaugural Season

Yesterday (May 14th), the Lady Rangers capped their season with a final win to go 5-0 for the shortened season.  The Lady’s shot a Team Score of 440 at the Valley Golf Club in Burns, OR.  Tora Timinsky took first place with an 89, Nellie Wilkinson shared second place with a score of 104.  Piper Neal took fifth, Audrey Anderson in sixth and Molly Cochenour finished in eighth.

The Ranger Men could not place in the Team competition due to an injury to Konner Donovan.  Tyson Byers lead the Ranger Men finishing in twelfth.  Alex Barrett took thirteenth, Peyton Neal  in fifteenth and Konner Donovan with a DNF.

 Schools participating in the Burns Invitational were Nyssa, Vale, Burns and Dufur.

 This concludes the inaugural golf season for the Rangers.  “We are looking forward in following this team during the years to come.” said Coach Travis Kane.  “We certainly have a great base established with an entire team of underclasswomen and great prospects moving up from the middle school.”
