Rangers' Women’s Golf Continue Their Perfect Season

This past Friday May 7th, the Rangers women’s team continued their winning way to go 4-0 on their season record. The Women shot a Team Score of 365 at the Milton-Freewater Golf Course.
Tora Timinsky took second place with an 82. Piper Neal and Nellie Wilkinson shared 4th place with a pair of 91’s. Audrey Anderson took 7th and Molly Cochenour finished in 10th.
The Ranger men finished in third place with a team score of 424. Alex Barrett led the Ranger men finishing in 12th. Tyson Byers took 13th, Konner Donavan in 16th and Peyton Neal finished in a tie for 17th.
“It feels great to be a part of the start of the team; golf is such a peaceful and relaxing sport. I'm happy that other kids have this opportunity. Being the top boy on the team feels great. I may not be the best at golf, but golf is a very hard sport to learn,” said Senior Alex Barrett when asked what it's like to be a part of the teams inaugural season and what it’s like to be the top player on the team so far.
Schools that participated in the McLoughlin Invitational were DeSales, La Grande,, Mac-Hi, Nixyaawii, Imbler, Heppner, and Dufur.
