The Dalles, Ore. February 28, 2024 — Tri-County Hazardous Waste and Recycling Program is asking the community to help them gather data on community needs by completing a community survey. Those that take the survey will be entered into a $25 gift card giveaway.
From Tri-County Hazardous Waste & Recycling Program:
”We are the Tri-County Hazardous Waste & Recycling Program and we serve our community by holding free hazardous waste events in Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman Counties. Each year our program holds up to 18 events to provide safe and accessible hazardous waste disposal for households, small businesses, and agricultural producers.
In addition, we help subsidize the cost of disposal for refrigerators, ACs, freezers, and sharps at our local transfer stations. While we may do the heavy lifting, your participation is the driving force behind our success. Together, we can amplify the impact of our Hazardous Waste Program, ensuring that every event becomes a collective step towards a safer, healthier environment for us all.
