The Dalles, Ore. October 6, 2023 - Mid-Columbia Community Concert Association is pleased to present Father/Daughter duo Mike Strickland & Elizabeth, on Tuesday, November 14th at The Dalles Civic Auditorium. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the Civic’s Club 22 providing food and drinks for purchase. The show begins at 7:00 pm.

One of the Northwest’s most popular and entertaining artists, pianist/composer Mike Strickland, presents blues, pop, Broadway, jazz, and original music. A gifted arranger and stylist, Mike's sets might include jazz classics, romantic film themes, Mississippi blues, piano-busting boogie-woogie, and gorgeous original music. His sparkling arrangements and exciting piano style make for a very fun and memorable event.

Mike’s daughter, Classical pianist Elizabeth Strickland, will join her father for the dazzling piano show called Classical Meets ‘Pop’! From Rhapsody in Blue to Bumble Boogie/Flight of the Bumblebee, they combine their talents for wonderful solos and duets that will delight everyone!

His music outreach, mentoring programs, and master classes are always enjoyed by local students and the community. This concert will include an exciting outreach with local music students from the Gorge Area. The outreach event is free to local students by invitation only, if you would like to attend please contact Patti at pattispartan@gmail.com.
