Fire under control in Wyeth; Log Deck Fire being watched closely

Wyeth, Ore., July 8, 2025 — Firefighters made great progress last evening and overnight on the Wyeth Fire with forward progression stopped.

Crews have just about completed a handline around the perimeter of the fire and will continue mop up, including decreasing heat in a log deck, seen above. Estimated acreage is closer to 10 acres in size. Evacuation levels remain in place. Bonneville Power Administration line remains deenergized in the area.
