Gorge Academy of Cosmetology Graduates its 100th students

Kerry Weed and her staff at Gorge Academy of Cosmetology and Massage at 422 E. 2nd St., The Dalles had a tie recently.

The academy celebrated its 5-Year anniversary on April 1st, 2022 and on August. 31st, it reached its 100th student milestone!!

“Helping people accomplish their goals and follow their dreams is what we love most,” Weed said. “We have helped to support people open their own businesses, working in the jobs of their dreams and travel to see the world both locally and as far away as New York City.”

”Our passion, knowledge and tenacity shows in each one of our talented graduates,” Weed said. “They should all be proud of their hard work and persistence, because we are proud of their dedication and commitment to Gorge Academy and the Beauty Industry Profession.”

Weed has also done a very nice job of restoring her building on Second Street and making the downtown a more inviting place to visit and learn. And Adams Construction helped her find the historic signs for the building while redeveloping the front entrance to the Academy.
