Stay Outdoors and help raise money for the FISH Food Bank! The Ruins in Hood River presents Will West & The Friendly Strangers w/ The Honey Jays - tickets help support the FISH Food Bank Fundraiser. It will be a reunion of sorts for the band - with band members traveling from North Carolina for the show! Doors at 5:30 p.m. Outdoor venue. All-Ages. No pets. Shows move indoors in the event of weather. Tickets are $10 at the door only. No advance purchase tickets available.

Something New? The Gorge Tropicana Band says they’ll be bringing Calypso and Reggae tunes to Double Mountain Brewery in Hood River at 8:30 p.m. Authentic Steel Drums should be in the mix.

History that’s Fun

Windsport Fans should know that the lecture series "Embrace the Wild Wind: a history of water sports in Hood River" continues at the History Museum of Hood River County. Don't miss the opportunity to hear from local water sports experts on a variety of topics: this time around it’s windsurfer and SUP expert Erin Gates. Show starts at 7 p.m.

Storied Surf-rockers The Ultrons are making a summer appearance at the Hood River Elks Lodge - promises to be the Surf-Rock Dance Party of the Year. 8 p.m. ($10 cover/$5 members)


Country Music artist Aaron Crawford is onstage at The Bargeway Pub in The Dalles, 7 p.m.

The Dalles Overground is proud to present HRAFNAMYND, a mesmerizing film and music event that takes audiences on a poetic journey through memory, myth, and the Icelandic landscape. This special screening will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center (5000 Discovery Dr, The Dalles, OR). Admission is free, offering a unique opportunity for the community to experience this evocative film and its stunning original soundtrack.

The Lobbyists (Swing, Jazz, Blues from Hood River) hit the stage at Everybody’s Brewing in White Salmon, 6-8 p.m.

Guitarist Al Hare is at Last Stop Saloon in The Dalles with a 7 p.m. show start.

Get Outside Again - it’s Ruins Tuesday with Patterns Fly w/ Roux Dio

All Ruins Tuesdays shows are a $5 cover if you arrive before 7 p.m., and $10 cover if you arrive after that.

Patterns Fly: Seattle-based guitarist Andy Coe (ACB, Skerik Band, McTuff) and drummer D'Vonne Lewis (Digable Planets, McTuff, Industrial Revelation) join forces with Portland keyboardist Galen Clark (Outer Orbit, Trio Subtonic, Sleater-Kinney) for a blend of pocket-heavy organ trio funk and psychedelic mind-bending groove music. The resulting sound fuses high energy synth bass heavy funk and experimental electronic tinged jazz.
