Congratulations to the 2023 grant award recipients of The Wasco County Cultural Trust Coalition:
- Serious Theater; $450
- Ft. Dalles Museum; $719
- Cascade Singers; $500
- Maupin Area Chamber of Commerce; $2000
- Friends of the Waldron Brothers Drugstore; $1520
- The Dalles Public Library Foundation; $2000
- Southern Wasco County Library, $2000; and
- Yvonne Pepin-Wakefield, $1500.
There will be a public reception to present the awards on Friday, March 3 at 6:00 pm at The Dalles Art Center, 220 E. 4th Street. The public is welcome to attend and learn about this year’s grant recipients, their projects, the WCCTC, and the Oregon Cultural Trust.
This year’s projects include public art installations, historic preservation, storytelling, music, and art programs. The Cultural Trust distributes funds received from your donations to the Oregon Cultural Trust. You can learn more about the Oregon Cultural Trust by going to: Culturaltrust.org.
