Goldendale Blooming with Home & Garden Show this weekend

By Tegan Shermikas

Spring is in the air, flowers are blooming and family-fun activities are starting to pop up all over the gorge. One activity that you won’t want to miss is happening this weekend in Goldendale.

It’s our annual Home & Garden Show! Come out to the Klickitat County Fair and Rodeo grounds on May 5th and 6th.

More than 100 Vendors are expected to this kid-friendly fun

There will be over 100 vendors and a multitude of kid-friendly fun to keep all the littles occupied while you wander the booths and discover their treasures. The 2023 Home & Garden FaceBook event page describes this year’s theme; “a spring festival flair, this family-friendly event is sure to have something for everyone!!”

While perusing the vendor list, I am taken aback by the sheer number of quality booths that are going to attend this celebration of spring. There are just too many to name, if you are interested in finding a list of ALL these exceptional vendors and want to be in “the know”, pop over to the Goldendale Chamber’s Face Book Page. Over the last few weeks they have highlighted the sponsors and many of the vendors during their daily posts, or check out the Chamber’s website for more information, https://members.goldendalechamber.org/experience-goldendale-calendar/details/2023-goldendale-home-garden-show-689962

One attraction that might perk many parents' interests is this year's addition of the Kids’ Discovery Garden! This area will be full of wonder and adventure for the little tykes of your life. There will be an interactive play zone, crafts and projects that even the smallest fingers can handle, a bouncy house to help expend some energy, and much more kid centered fun. Help ensure that your kids ring in the start of spring with a smile, by making this a stop while you are out and about this weekend.

Is anyone else ready to ring in the spring weather? This event is sure to help get you ready for those warm sunlit spring afternoons. Come join in the community fun by visiting the Goldendale's very own 2023 Home & Garden Show.
