Hot August Nights Car Show in Hood River Aug 4th

Hood River, OR, July 27, 2023— Visit Hood River (VHR) has announced their August First Friday event Hot August Nights. Visit Hood River (VHR) has announced their August First Friday event Hot August Nights. Set to take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on August 4th, on Oak Street in downtown Hood River, the event will feature a car show, art, vendors, live music and more!

Do you have a car that you want to show off? Sign up for our car show and let everyone see your great car by clicking here! Contestants will have a chance to receive a Kid’s choice aware and special prizes awarded by the City, Visit Hood River!

The street will also be lined with arts and craft vendors, live music, and businesses will keep their doors open late  to welcome locals and visitors alike to enjoy the beauty of Hood River.

“The first two events we  had this summer were amazing and very well attended,” said Katie Kadlub, CEO of Visit Hood  River. “We look forward to August’s car show and hope to make this an annual event each  year.” 

The public is to be advised that Oak Street will be closed to traffic between 1st and 6th Streets will be closed from 4:30-8:00 p.m.
