It's all in the details: Pothier putting some finishing touches on new art installation in TD

Chris Pothier of The Dalles works on some of the details on 18 panels he will erect at the Columbia Gorge Food Bank in the Port of The Dalles in weeks to come. Chris has been working on the project since March and is providing his artistry to the new food bank which recently held its grand opening at its new new $3 million warehouse, community food center, and learning kitchen located at 3525 Crates Way. Read CCCNew’s story about it here. CCCNews will bring you photos of the finished project in weeks to come.

Pothier’s vibrant colors added a nice touch as Spring is finally upon us with temps expected to hit 81 degrees Fahrenheit today, April 27. Temps are only expected to go up from there on Friday and Saturday.

Check the filter in your HVAC - AC might be needed shortly. Or you can always fill the kiddie pool and belly-flop off a lawn chair.

Above is a cool time lapse video Pothier took of his installation of All Together The Dalles two years ago at the former Chronicle building.
