The committee selected her garden, located at 623 W 10th St., as the standout property for the month. The award was presented by committee members John Nelson and Janet Kavanagh, who were joined by Mayor Mays. “I would like to thank my Grandma Lucille P Ketchum and my mother Katherine Ketchum for inspiring my love of gardening through their love of nature and creativity of space. I feel very lucky for all the generations of women who came before me and their love of land and hard work to create beauty,” said Dauenhauer.
