Kelly Ave. Bomber threads the needle

A local skateboarder found the quick way downtown The Dalles today, choosing Kelly Ave., which sent him on a speedy downhill clip that finished in some grooving s-turns.

Two drivers likely did not appreciate his skills as the skateboarder threaded the needle when the vehicle ahead of him in a Ford Maverick was driving just above 15 mph and the skater’s speed sent him into a pass in the oncoming traffic lane.

Snikees!

He made it.

No harm, no foul?

It made for an interesting start to Wednesday, Oct. 9 as temperatures continue to be mild, child.

The National Weather Service is calling for daytime highs in the 70s and mid-40s in the mornings. Other than a 20 percent chance of rain today, it’s looking to be drier than my cousin’s macaroni and cheese.
