Kiwanis Programs August 2024
KIWANIS PROGRAMS: Kiwanis meetings are held every Thursday at noon at Spooky’s and visitors are welcome. This week’s events include:
— Aug. 1 visit from Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue.
— Aug. 8 Director Andrea Klaas reports on Port of The Dalles.
— Aug. 8, 9, and 10 Kiwanis “Stuff the Bus” with school supplies, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day in the Staples-Safeway parking lot.
— Aug. 15 is a free family day at Wasco County Fair— meet at the fairgrounds in Tygh Valley.
— Aug. 22 speaker is Rebecca Thistlethwaite from the School District 21 Foundation.
— Aug. 29 Kiwanians do final planning for the Sept. 5 Steak Feed.
