Mom Prom 2024 - A Benefit for Valeria is June 29

The Dalles, Ore. June 13, 2024 – The Dalles Moose Lodge 2075, in partnership with the Last Stop Saloon, is gearing up to host "Mom Prom 2024 – A Benefit for Valeria” on June 29 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event aims to rally community support for three-year-old Valeria Alvarez, who is currently battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Proceeds from the event will help support Valeria’s ongoing treatment at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland

Since its debut in 2015, Mom Prom has evolved as a source of entertainment and philanthropy to help families grappling with severe medical challenges.
This year's gala promises an unforgettable night of dining, dancing, and giving at the Last Stop Saloon's brand-new "Rec Yard” located at 209 East 2nd Street The Dalles, OR 97058. The dinner menu will offer choices between pork loin and bacon-wrapped chicken, paired with roasted green beans and carrots, a baked potato bar, and salad, topped off with a cheesecake danish for dessert.
The evening will also feature a live performance by Al Hare, a photo booth (one free photo with ticket, additional photos available for purchase), an auction and raffle. Raffle tickets are priced at $10 each, providing ample opportunities for attendees to win amazing items while supporting a worthwhile cause. The raffle and auction winners will be announced during the event.
After dinner, the festivities continue with a DJ spinning great dance tunes until 10 p.m.
An after party with karaoke will then kick off across the street at The Dalles Moose Lodge, 233 E 2nd St., running from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. A bracelet is required for entry to ensure an exclusive and secure environment for all guests.
In a thoughtful provision for safety, a free designated driver service will be available from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. for rides within The Dalles, ensuring guests enjoy a safe return home.
The Dalles Inn is also offering a 10% discount for guests who mention "Mom Prom" when booking their stay. Located at 112 W. 2nd St., the inn is just a couple of blocks from the venue, making it an ideal choice for attendees. Reservations can be made by calling 541-296-9107.
The event is open to all adults over the age of 21 (non-mom’s welcome!). There is no need for formal wear; but guests are encouraged to come dressed in whatever makes them feel festive!
