The Dalles Moose Lodge 2075 is hosting a Community Block Party on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 10 am until 10 pm. This will take place in the parking lot of Discounts Plus and the event will be geared toward families. Here are the activities/ideas planned:

  1. There will be a FREE MEAL served to the community including hot dogs, chips, and bottled water and soda. Donations will be accepted for food and will go to Moose Charities.

  2. We will have bounce houses, outdoor games such as Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four, and cornhole.

  3. There will be a dunk tank so you can “Dunk A Moose”. The cost will be $5 for 3 balls and proceeds will go to Moose Charities.

  4. We will have a SafeID kit to allow parents to register their kids. This provides fingerprinting and photos that can be put on a card and used for emergency purposes for children.

  5. The Lodge will be open for restrooms, sno cones, popcorn, cotton candy, more games, open bar, a burger dinner for purchase, and for the community to see the lodge.

  6. All proceeds will either go to Moose Charities, or back into our Non-Profit Moose Lodge for the further benefit of helping in our community. This is a non-profit event.

  7. We will be collecting school supplies to donate back to North Wasco County School District schools. We will also partner with the Kiwanis and their “Stuff the Bus” school supply program.

  8. There will be a for-purchase beer garden that will be properly licensed and permitted as well as guarded.

  9. There will be live music from local bands. In-Dispute will play from 6 pm-9 pm as the headline band.

  10. This entire event will be licensed, permitted, and approved through Moose International, OLCC, The North Central Public Health Department, and the City of The Dalles.

  11. JagerBumz will be live on stage from 10 am until 12 pm

  12. In-Dispute will be live on stage from 6 pm-9 pm
