onX Maps Tutorial on tap at Mid-Columbia Hunters' Pub Night on Thursday at Bargeway

Back in 2020, Les Kipper got this four-point buck last in Gilliam County. Dave and Michelle Adams spotted the buck while scouting separate sides of a draw and alerted Kipper to its location. Local hunters are invited to learn about onX Maps App and non-lead hunting this Thursday - food and drinks included.

Plenty of fun, food, drinks and information will be on tap at the Bargeway Pub on Thursday as the Mid-Columbia Chapter of the Oregon Hunters Association holds Pub Night.

Haley Fetzer, director of marketing onX Maps will present an onX tutorial at the Bargeway Pub in The Dalles at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 25.

OnX maps is a fully-functioning GPS navigation app on your phone. It allows you to view private and public property land ownership data, landowner names, and property lines on your custom maps. It also allows you to easily view hunting units, mountain roads and trails, US topographic maps, and more.

You can learn tips and tricks to get the most from your onX app. If you are new to onX, no problem. This may be just what you're looking for.  

Hunting Education Coordinator with the Oregon Zoo Leland Brown will also be presenting on the benefits of hunting with non-lead ammunition.
