The Dalles, Ore., March 3, 2026 — Columbia Gorge Community College will host Oregon Transfer Day on March 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Hook Café on The Dalles Campus at 400 East Scenic Drive, The Dalles.

Oregon Transfer Day gives CGCC students the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from four-year colleges and universities. Students who are planning to transfer after completing their associate degree can ask questions about admissions, transfer credits, financial aid, scholarships, and campus life.

The event will also feature CGCC’s own advisors, who can chat with students, both current and prospective, about their future plans. “Our goal is to remove uncertainty from the transfer process," says Ryan Brusco, CGCC Director of Advising and Student Supports. "When students can speak directly with admissions representatives and our advising team in one place, they gain clarity and confidence about what comes next.”

Jessica Griffin Conner, CGCC Director of Outreach, said the event helped her plan her future when she was an undergraduate. “As a former CGCC student, I remember attending OTD so I could meet with multiple university representatives, and carefully weigh my transfer options to choose what best fit my academic goals and family situation. Joining us for Oregon Transfer Day on March 5th gives current students the chance to consider their options and make an informed decision about their future.”

High School students who are planning a transfer path are also encouraged to attend.

Representatives from the following institutions are expected at the event:

Bushnell University
Eastern Oregon University
Grand Canyon University
Oregon Institute of Technology
Oregon State University
Pacific University
Pacific Northwest College of Art
Portland State University
Roseman University of Health Sciences
The Evergreen State College
University of Idaho
University of Oregon
University of Portland
Western Oregon University
