Paredes Celebrates 86th birthday with new sport

Julio D. Paredes turned 86 last week.

And what does every kid want for their birthday - a new bike, of course.

Paredes who is often seen about town with his friend Buck, a 110-pound German Pinscher, said he had to take the dog to the park twice before he could sneak away for an 8-mile ride.

“I have a terrible master,” he said of Buck.
