Photo Gallery: Dying Silk Scarves at the The Dalles Library

By Cole Goodwin

The Dalles, Ore., February 23, 2024 — Last week The Dalles Wasco County Library hosted a silk scarf dying workshop from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Pre-registration for the event filled up completely, with all spots being claimed. Attendees got to learn various dying techniques and had fun coming up with their own designs.

Several people in attendance commented on how fun it was to not only to dye the scarves but to get to see how other people dyed theirs, noting that everyone’s creation was unique and beautiful.

Photos of the event were submitted to CCCNews by Sandy Haechrel.
