Photo Of The Week - Moe Dixon packs Herbring House and the pantry

All the hard work is paying off as Victor Johnson and his Herbring House has realized a vision of bringing great music and good causes to the forefront. Locals enjoyed a concert with Moe Dixon on Sunday night, July 12 at the courtyard Johnson fashioned with a stage and room for locals to relax.

The Dalles, Ore., July 14, 2026 — Gorge legend Moe Dixon performed to a full house on a gorgeous summer night in The Dalles last Sunday. The event raised $1,000 for the local Backpack program. The program helps 200-400 kids per week with extra needed food on weekends during the school year.

Tess and Patrick Barr, Juliet Yanko and Victor Johnson joined Dixon on several songs.

"Hot summer nights in The Dalles are something special. A courtyard concert with Moe Dixon on a summer night in The Dalles is hard to top" Johnson said.
