New Columbia Gorge Postpartum Support Group
Columbia Gorge Postpartum Support receives funding from the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Community Partnership Program to serve families in the Gorge!
Columbia Gorge Postpartum Support (CGPS) is a new organization serving Gorge families through lactation consultation and postpartum doula support at no cost to the family. There is a big need in the community to provide postpartum support to women and families in attempts to support breastfeeding and decrease postpartum mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety. CGPS recently received funding from the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Community Partnership Program to begin providing these services to families in Hood River and Wasco counties.
