On Thursday, July 14, Bargeway Pub in The Dalles welcomes musician Zach Ryan and band playing two sets of classic country music focusing on superstar Waylon Jennings. Shows at 6:30 and 9 p.m. and there is no cover charge.

Time Machine at Granada Theatre
The Granada Theatre in The Dalles brings the 1960 Sci-Fi Classic The Time Machine to the big screen on Friday and Saturday, July 15-16. Based on the H.G. Wells novel from 1895, The Time Machine takes viewers hundreds of thousands of years into the future world of Eloi and Morlocks. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., show starts at 6 p.m.

Tony Furtado art exhibit at TDAC
The Dalles Art Center presents sculpture art from Portland folk and roots musician Tony Furtado through July 31. Furtado is a recent winner of the juried exhibition at the “Beyond The Construct,” exhibit and his work represents “an exploration of the natural world in reaction to the human impact on the delicate balance of thriving vs. struggling species.”

For the record, Cryptozoology is “the search for and study of animals whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated, such as the Loch Ness monster and the yeti.”
