Project ELFF Sees Good Turn Out
The Dalles, Ore., December 6, 2023 — Mid-Columbia Fire and Rescue held their 36th Annual Everyone Loves a Firefighter drive-through food drive otherwise known as Project ELFF on Tuesday, Dec. 5 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. This is the third year that Project ELFF has gone to a drive-through format. Community members enjoyed some Christmas cheer, visits with Santa and Sparky and donated 2,412 food items and $800.50 in cash to Fire Station 1 at 1400 W. 8th Street, The Dalles, yesterday.
