Public Test of The Ballot Tabulation System and Last Day to Register

The Dalles, Ore. Oct. 14, 2024 — Tuesday, October 15, 2024, is the last day to register to vote for the November 5, 2024 General Election. The Clerk’s office will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on this day. Postmarked registration cards are accepted.
Prior to each election, the County Clerk is required to hold a demonstration of the preparation and testing of the ClearBallot Optical Scan vote counting system. You, or your representative, are invited to attend and preview the ballot counting process for the November 5, 2024, General Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. in the County Clerk’s Office.
