Race Across Oregon
This upcoming weekend, July 17-19 the Race Across Oregon will be going on starting in The Dalles at the Fairfield Inn. This will be the 26th annual race.
It is a grueling challenge only for the fittest of bikers willing to take on a 500-mile or 260-mile challenge.
As of this morning, July 13, eight contestants had registered for the 500-mile race, and four are registered for the 260.
Race Across Oregon is the second oldest Race Across America or RAAM Qualifier in the World. It is also one of the most challenging and was designated a WUCA 500 mile North American ultra-distance Championship for 2021. This year's route features a 500-mile loop course with some 37,000 feet of climbing. They also offer a 260-mile version as well!
This will test your limits like no other event under 1,000 miles, according to one previous rider.
You can still register here.
