Let it all just rain on me
Daniel Polehn took a look at the grey skies this morning, Sept. 10, and hopped on his bike anyway for several miles of commuting to his job at Google. The 32-year-old said he tries to ride as much as possible, and he welcomed the rain this morning as the area is way behind on precipitation. The Dalles has registered less than 3 inches of rain this season, way behind on its yearly average of 18 inches.
Forecasters were predicting The Dalles would receive a quarter-inch of rain today. That’s a start for next year’s crops, but a couple more inches would really help.
And for your listening pleasure…
