From Friends of the Columbia Gorge:

Hood River, Ore., April 1, 2024 – Friends’ beloved guided outings are back for another spring and summer season of outdoor fun! Dust off your hiking boots, fill up those deflated bike tires, dig up your trusty nature journal, and let’s enjoy the outdoors together.

This year, we are excited to offer some brand new outdoor experiences that we’ve never done before, including mindfulness walks, forest bathing, birding, art events, and much more. As we’ve done the past two years, we will release our outings in batches, with the first group now open for registration below:

April 4: Hiking Catherine Creek to Coyote Wall

April 5: Petroglyphs Tour & Dancing Rock Walk* (Members Only)

April 9: Steamboat Landing to Steigerwald Dog-Friendly Walk

April 11: A Walk Through Time – History Walk & Talk at Mark O. Hatfield East Trailhead

April 12: Hiking East Catherine Creek Loop

April 13: Art in Nature: Watercolor event at Catherine Creek
